Wreaths Across America canceled due to snow


CHESHIRE - Due to heavy snow, and the closing of Cheshire schools, for the day, the Wreaths Across America event at Cheshire High School is canceled.

The project, which seeks to get one wreath for every grave at Arlington National Cemetery, was planning to stop at Cheshire High School on its way to the cemetery at 12:30 today en route to its final destination at Arlington National Cemetery.

The students at Cheshire High School’s Bring Remembrance to All Veterans Everywhere (BRAVE) have raised enough money to buy 220 wreaths.

The truck carrying the wreaths was scheduled to stop at the high school on its route from Maine.
